It's Tuesday, October 13th, and really raining outside; I'm happy to have various inside projects.
I started with the tansy, mugwort, and sage I had cut yesterday.
Are you familiar with tansy?
When I did a little more research, I found that it was good as a bug repellent and was also: "hung on the house by Germanic peoples as a protection against monsters. The aromatic herb was also burned as incense."
That seemed like a good enough reason to make some monster smudge bundles.
It does smell so good!
Right now, they're drying on the woodstove and I have moved upstairs to cover books.
As I collected supplies, I remembered this morning was a Create YOUR World Zoom call with Ross Newkirk.
Yay!
I enjoy being able to engage while feeling productive.
Since I was on a roll covering books, I continued after the call - listening to a conversation about reinventing/reenvisioning education.
It's part of homework - and I am so excited to hear discussion of concepts and ideas that I have been proposing for years: relevant, meaningful, intergenerational, collaborative, life-long learning.
This is exactly what I had in mind when establishing SPACE...
So, what do you think?
Can you understand the importance of where you focus your attention?
Do you see how the Universe works to realize every thought that is held with focused intent?
Are you willing to shift your energy to something that feels exciting - like peace?
Yes! We've got it covered!!
